- Analyze and report IT service performance
- Drill down from IT services to the infrastructure components that support them to investigate and diagnose service performance issues
- Identify the root cause of performance issues, regardless of where the infrastructure component may reside.
- Operating systems: AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, Linux, Windows, i5/OS and z/OS
- Virtual environments: POWER Hypervisor, Solaris Zones, VMware, z/OS
- Databases: DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase
- Application servers: WebLogic and WebSphere

IT Service Analyzer includes:
TeamQuest IT Service Analyzer offers both real-time and historical capabilities for proactive IT service performance analysis. Use it to automatically detect impending problems, allowing you time to resolve them before they impact business. Easily drill down across multiple, heterogeneous infrastructure components to isolate the root cause of service performance problems, regardless of where various components may reside.
IT Resources allow you to analyze and report on IT services (rather than IT components) by grouping multiple servers, applications, or other IT components. Analyze the performance of all systems in a tier, for example. When a problem is detected in a tier, you can drill down to individual systems with symptoms that are contributing to the problem. Similarly, you can use IT Resources to group the performance from specific workloads on all of the systems for analysis and reporting.
Product Features
Identify and diagnose IT service performance issues
- Analyze problematic IT services or multi-tiered applications to identify the IT component causing the problem, regardless of where that component may reside.
- Automatically detect anomalies by comparing recent metrics with historical norms.
- Uncover cause-effect relationships using correlation analysis.
- Identify cycles and patterns in system behavior using trend analysis.
Analyze and report IT service performance
- Identify impending problems before they affect business.
- Know which IT components are likely to cause bottlenecks.
- Analyze how much of each server resource is being consumed by each IT service, business process, department, or application with workload analysis.
- Use IT Resources to combine performance data from multiple servers, applications, or other IT components.
Integrate with third-party tools
- Import and export IT Resource definitions to and from CMDBs or third-party discovery tools using XML.
- Generate alarm events and send them to third-party consoles via SNMP traps.
