The successful candidate will need good knowledge and experience of Unix and Windows, software engineering processes, C or C++, Internet applications and source control processes. Working in a team setting, the candidate must be able to analyze software requirements; define and design software components; produce well documented, quality code that is easy to use and maintain; as well as participate in design and code reviews. In addition to their knowledge of Unix or Windows, it would be a plus if the candidate has good knowledge or experience in statistical methods, queuing theory, capacity planning, J2EE development, VMware, PowerVM, Hyper-V, AIX, Solaris, Linux, HP-UX, network monitoring, SAN storage, and Relational Database Management Systems (Postgres, Oracle, Sybase and Microsoft SQL Server). In addition to these technical skills, the successful candidate must be proficient in problem solving and be able to assist customers with technical issues as needed. Experience with an Agile or Scrum development methodology is preferred. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, performance and/or security testing is a plus.

Typically a qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, MIS or equivalent experience. Typically successful candidates have five or more years of experience in the software development field. Skills that are required include strong verbal and written communication skills and a strong mathematical background.

In this role you'll have a direct impact on the success of our sales organization. As our organization changes and grows, you and your team will lead the way in developing programs to help generate new pipeline and accelerate adoption to enable cross-sell/ upsell in existing customer accounts.

    Responsibilities

    Lead the team tasked with delivering marketing programs to drive pipeline growth and customer loyalty for Global Sales Teams. These integrated marketing programs may include:

  • Development and execution of seminars showcasing customer success and supporting cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • C-level campaigns: Programs to create/accelerate opportunities and position TeamQuest as an Industry Innovator/ thought leader
  • Partner/ Alliances Marketing programs: build partner co-marketing programs into regional marketing plans
  • Greenfield programs: targeting new contact and account acquisition
  • Represent TeamQuest in speaking engagements, seminars, partner events and sales opportunities
  • Align with sales management to understand the market trends in the region and customize programs as required
  • Communicate regional and vertical trends to HQ to modify overall strategy, messaging, content
  • Identify other programs or processes to enable customer success and support account expansion/ cross-sell/ upsell
  • Track program results, measuring program success, and reporting metrics
  • Manage field marketing budget

    Typically a qualified candidate will have

  • Minimum of 8 years Marketing and Field Marketing Experience and 3-5 years managing teams
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience creating and managing field and virtual events
  • Passion for monitoring and reporting on key metrics and adjusting marketing plans based on results
  • Experience developing regional plans to support account-based marketing
  • Proven success in executing programs that drive demand, acceleration and return
  • Used Salesforce.com to understand program possibilities and campaign success
  • Created crafty, compelling, concise content, with a good eye for editing and proofreading
  • Expertise using PowerPoint
  • Ability to hit aggressive deadlines while delivering high quality work
  • Ability to manage budget
  • Project management/ technology implementation experience
  • Ability to clearly articulate a market-specific value proposition and tailor it to fit a variety of program requirements
  • Ability to market to a range of B2B buyers using a wide variety of offers (white papers, case studies, webcasts) and delivery mechanisms (email, call downs, direct mail)
  • Be willing up to travel 40% of the time

The Services Specialist will perform services for customers and participate in support activities for the Americas Solution Services team. Duties include performing installations, customizations, and training of TeamQuest products and processes. Provides Capacity Management services and assessments, develops and maintains training materials and documentation to conform to the customers’ needs. TeamQuest customers around the world rely on TeamQuest software solutions to help get the most out of their IT infrastructure and ensure the availability and reliability of enterprise systems.

    Qualifications & Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires ten or more years of experience in the systems administration and technical services industry
  • Programming experience including java script, HTML, SQL, and XML
  • Programming experience in groovy would be beneficial
  • Ability to build and customize business value/metrics reports
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Analyze software requirements, define and design software components and produce well documented, quality code that is easy to use and maintain.
  • Champion and build automation and tools to optimize our continuous release process and production environment.
  • Identify and develop required infrastructure to support features, resiliency and improve out of box functionality.
  • Instill operational best practices and state of the art engineering technical approaches in design, build, testing and debugging.
  • Collaborate with Automated Test Team and use Test Driven Development to ensure quality of finished product.
  • Manage a Continuous Integration/Deployment environment with multiple pushes per day.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop an efficient deployment platform to support evolving needs.
  • Actively participate in design and code reviews.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with 5+ years of experience or equivalent.
  • At least 5+ years’ experience in software development and unit testing using C or C++, Java and PHP in Windows and UNIX environments.
  • Strong experience in DevOp’s, Continuous Integration and Deployment using open source based technology stack including Jenkins, Puppet, Selenium and Ruby.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) software development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of engineering best practices - requirement gathering and analysis, designing and developing unit tests, participating in code reviews, and documentation.
